These objects are made from found, used and often discarded materials.
Throughout my career, I have found interest in a diverse range of materials, however used and dried teabags and single-coloured plastics have become my favourite to work with.
It is the previous usages of these objects which intrigue me, in addition to their visual components, such as form and colour. Having been brought up in a westernised culture, I’ve grown wary of the growing ‘necessity’ for objects. The surplus of items can be overwhelming, almost devastating.
The objects here play with the different emotions which come alongside.
