Condensed

This installation is part of a formal space encounter of objects and sculptures during the past years. From wall hangings to space invaders, from round sculptures to large ground covers. Plastics and other colourful objects in all sizes and colours fascinate me. It is the abundance of such today which intrigue me.
‘Condensed’ evolved in a small town in Saxony, Kamenz, during Stadt – Raum – Kunst, a public art event in 2016. Here I worked one week in public, at the main center of the city with colourful plastic materials given to me by the people of Kamenz.
Talking to the people of Kamenz as well as visitors, working silently while being watched formed all part of the sculpture, which found their places within the city center.
